An Ordinance of the Town of Micanopy, Florida Providing Consent for the Entire Corporate Limits of the Town of Micanopy, Florida to be Included in a Non-Ad Valorem Assessment for a Municipal Service Benefit Unit Created by Alachua County for the Provision of Solid Waste Management Costs; Providing Conditions for the Consent; Providing that the Consent is Automatically Renewed Until Terminated; and Providing an Effective Date.

The Town Commission shall conduct public hearings to consider adoption of proposed Ordinance No. 2015-01 which hearing will be held at the following time and location, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the:

Work Schedule - Approximately ten months per year (school year) with a flexible 25 30 hour, Monday through Friday work schedule to accommodate the needs of the positional responsibilities (spring break, winter break, and summers off);

Special Requirements

Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of law enforcement experience;

Minimum Five (5) years experience as a School Resource Officer (SRO);

Must possess a valid State of Florida Driver's License and a good driving record.

Compensation/Work Schedule

Base Salary - $15,120 annual;

Work Schedule - Approximately ten months per year (school year) with a flexible 25 30 hour, Monday through Friday work schedule to accommodate the needs of the positional responsibilities (spring break, winter break, and summers off);

Take Home Vehicle No;

Uniforms/Equipment/

Firearms provided per Police Department policy.
