AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HAWTHORNE, ALACHUA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF HAWTHORNE TO ESTABLISH A TEMPORARY ZONING MORATORIUM ON MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES/

PROCESSING/GROWING CENTERS AS FURTHER DEFINED HEREIN FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF ADOPTION OF THIS ORDINANCE, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR AN ADDITIONAL SIX (6) MONTHS; PROVIDING FOR GEOGRAPHIC AREA COVERED; PROVIDING FOR THE DURATION OF MORATORIUM; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE, A GENERAL REPEALER CLAUSE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
