FINLEY WOODS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT

In accord with Chapters 120 and 190, Florida Statutes, the Finley Woods Community Development District (District) hereby gives notice of its intention to develop Rules of Procedure to govern the operations of the District.

The Rules of Procedure address such areas as the Board of Supervisors, officers and voting, district offices, public information and inspection of records, policies, public meetings, hearings and workshops, rulemaking proceedings and competitive purchase including procedure under the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, procedure regarding auditor selection, purchase of insurance, pre-qualification, construction contracts, goods, supplies and materials, maintenance services, contractual services and protests with respect to proceedings, as well as any other area of the general operation of the District.

The purpose and effect of the Rules of Procedure is to provide for efficient and effective District operations. The legal authority for the adoption of the proposed Rules of Procedure includes sections 190.011(5), 190.011(15) and 190.035, Florida Statutes (2018). Part-Time Contract Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented person to work part-time in this 1099 contract position to record the meetings and take notes during the City Commission, Planning & Zoning, Sewer Committee, Code Enforcement and Archer Community Center advisory board meetings and workshops held in Archer, FL.

The majority of the meetings are scheduled during night hours.

Responsibilities:

Learning the required procedures and the use of the equipment and software provided.

Setting up the recording equipment and ensuring it is functioning properly prior to the start of each meeting.

Operating the equipment and annotating the recording in order to provide accurate typed minutes during the meetings. Submitting a complete and audible digital recording and minutes of the meetings, including exhibits offered by citizens.

Requirements:

Candidates should be comfortable with technology, including the use of computers, digital recording equipment, teleconferencing equipment, and smartphones. Excellent typing skills (minimum 50 wpm), a professional demeanor, and good communication and listening skills are essential.

This position requires vehicle ownership and a smartphone since reliable transportation and communication with city staff is critical. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.

This is a part-time 1099 contract position. Previous experience as a transcriptionist is required. Pay rate will be determined by experience.

This is a position servicing local government meetings.

Part-Time Contract Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented person to work part-time in this 1099 contract position to record the meetings and take notes during the City Commission, Planning & Zoning, Sewer Committee, Code Enforcement and Archer Community Center advisory board meetings and workshops held in Archer, FL.

The majority of the meetings are scheduled during night hours.

Responsibilities:

Learning the required procedures and the use of the equipment and software provided.

Setting up the recording equipment and ensuring it is functioning properly prior to the start of each meeting.

Operating the equipment and annotating the recording in order to provide accurate typed minutes during the meetings. Submitting a complete and audible digital recording and minutes of the meetings, including exhibits offered by citizens.

Requirements:

Candidates should be comfortable with technology, including the use of computers, digital recording equipment, teleconferencing equipment, and smartphones. Excellent typing skills (minimum 50 wpm), a professional demeanor, and good communication and listening skills are essential.

This position requires vehicle ownership and a smartphone since reliable transportation and communication with city staff is critical. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.

This is a part-time 1099 contract position. Previous experience as a transcriptionist is required. Pay rate will be determined by experience.

This is a position servicing local government meetings.
