Dorothy Sue Cruce, 74, passed away at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Fla., on Sept. 5, 2011. She was a member of Hague Baptist Church, and loved taking care of her family and her grandchildren, and loved fishing and hunting.She is survived by her husband, J.O. Cruce, Sr.; sons, Jake Cruce and Donald Cruce of Alachua; brothers, Berry Griffis of Bell, Fla. and Norman Griffis of Hague, Fla.; sisters, Vonnell Cahill of Turkey Creek and Linda Copeland of Ft. White; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL, 32606. Arrangements are under the care of Evans-Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, Fla.
