Milton M. Lane, 69, longtime High Springs resident departed this life on Saturday Dec. 24, 2011 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center. He was a native of Jacksonville, Fla. He was a truck driver for Benjamin Moore Paints and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Jackie Lane of High Springs; sons, Billy, Edward, Melvin Jr., Jimmy, David and Art Lane; two daughters, Joyce and Sandy Lane; one sister, Jeanne Young; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2011 at Evans-Carter Funeral Home in High Springs with Rev. Mark Driskell officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Fort White, Fla. Visitation will be Thursday Dec. 29, 2011 at the funeral home 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
