NOTICE OF INTENT TO RENAME SEVERAL STREETS WITHIN THE
CITY OF HAWTHORNE, FLORIDA
BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HAWTHORNE, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 46-8 of the City Code of Ordinances, comments, objections and recommendations regarding the City’s intent to rename several streets within the City of Hawthorne, Florida, shall be received and heard by the City Commission at public hearing on May 7, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the City Commission Meeting Room, City Hall, located at 6875 S.E. 221st Street, Hawthorne, Florida, 32640. The proposed streets to be renamed are as follows:

1) Rename SE 214th Street from the corner of SE 65th Ave to SE 69th Ave. The new name proposed would be Rev. Joeseph Williams ST.

These public hearings may be continued to one or more future dates. Any interested party is advised that the date, time and place of any continuation of these public hearings shall be announced during the scheduled public hearing and no further notice regarding these matters will be published. At the aforementioned public hearing, all interested parties may appear to be heard with respect to the proposed name changes.

BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HAWTHORNE, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 46-8 of the City Code of Ordinances, comments, objections and recommendations regarding the City’s intent to rename several streets within the City of Hawthorne, Florida, shall be received and heard by the City Commission at public hearing on May 7, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the City Commission Meeting Room, City Hall, located at 6875 S.E. 221st Street, Hawthorne, Florida, 32640. The proposed streets to be renamed are as follows:

1) Rename SE 214th Street from the corner of SE 65th Ave to SE 69th Ave. The new name proposed would be Rev. Joeseph Williams ST.
