Willie Fred Daies, Sr., passed on Thursday, February 4, 2010.  He was born to the late Milton Davis and Gussie Massie.

He was a graduate of Richardson High School, Lake City; and worked as a subcontractor specializing in drywall.

Survivors include his six children, Roger (Lillie) Daies, Sr. of Fort White, Willie Fred (Sonya) Daies, Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., Michael (Tahlia)Daies of Gainesville, Marlon (Caira) Daies of Fort White,

Auther (Jina) Thomas, O’Brien and Tiffany Griffin of Fort White; five sisters, Mamie (L.C.) McCutchen of Starke, Betty (Earl) Penson , Ester Wilson, both of Orlando, Daisy Davis of Starke, Carolyn (Genoryal) Slay of Orlando; one brother, Melvin (Mary) Davis of Starke; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Daies will be Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Fort White.  Rev. Donnell Sanders, Pastor and Rev. William Jones, Eulogist.  Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery, Lake City.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home 6-8 p.m.
